Another Great Festival!

Hexham Bluegrass Festival returned again in 2025 with its exciting mix of local, regional, professional and amateur musicians and bands, workshops, dancing, sessions and events in the town. Located at the Bandstand on the Sele next to the Abbey, we again had two stages and an extended offering of fringe events. The weekend kicked off on the Friday with a Hoe Down Ceilidh at the community centre and a welcome jam session at the Bandstand.

Here's some pictures from the weekend: Clockwise from top right - Cloth Eared Mule, Welcome Jam, Sarah Jane Scouten, Afternoon Jam, Old Time Session, The Byker Hillbillies, Tyne Valley Rattlers, Tommy Arch, Errant Moose. All pictures SimPixels except Welcome Jam and Old Time Session (Eddie Nickson)

The festival is 'free'

Hexham Bluegrass Festival is a free event (with the exception of the Hoe-Down). Many thanks to those who have helped keep it that way.
