28th - 30th July 2023
Bands and Fringe events
Hexham will be transformed into a music extravaganza
the last weekend of July with bands in the bandstand
and gigs, sessions, workshops, and dancing in the
park and town
The festival is 'free'
The first festival took place in 2022 and was a one-day festival. The festival took place in Hexham bandstand, was free, and was attended by a few hundred people. Everybody loved it so we decided to make it bigger and better in 2023. It's still free, but we will pass a donations bucket round again. Please donate on the day and also via the button paypal.me below to secure the future of this wonderful event in Hexham !
If you would prefer to donate another way please email HBF Treasurer

Welcome to Hexham
for hotels, bed and breakfast and other tourist facilities and attractions see Visit Hexham website. For nearby campsites and motorhome stopovers, see the other links below.
The following businesses have supported the festival financially and would appreciate your custom - to add
Core Music, Hexham. Everyone should also visit the fabulous Core Music down Gilesgate whilst in Hexham. Core Music is a Community Interest Company and relies on 'profits' from the shop, room hire from tutors and other groups, donations, goodwill and the dedication of a small number of staff and volunteers. Core Music contributes and supports a whole host of music activities in and around Hexham. Without Core Music, this festival would not be happening.
